Right Here

Sometimes an idea that challenges—reveals. Not the idea itself, but something far deeper. I recently encountered something that hit me at my core.
At first, I reacted. But then I slowed it down.
What’s the truth beyond this?
What’s real here?
And without needing to explain it…I just knew.
I know.
Who is the real you—beyond the noise?
What’s real in your world?
Where are you anchored?
What’s true?
When something questions your identity, it can feel jarring.
But what’s actually present?
Pause.
Wait.
Listen.
Turn the volume down—in your mind, in the world around you—and just be.
Then listen for what’s true.
I promise you…it’s right there, waiting for you to notice.
In the stillness… feel.
I’m held.
Surrounded.
Loved.
Accepted.
Treasured.
God is here.
He is the carrier wave in the middle of a sea of noise, distortion, and volume.
Steady.
Constant.
Right here.
I’ll tell you something true:
I’m done striving.
I’m done trying to prove.
I’m tired of performing—of feeling like I have to defend or explain.
Like I’m always on stage.
Always being analyzed.
Tested.
Instead of just being—fully, wholly, authentically… me.
So let me ask you:
Where are you right now?
What is the deepest truth of who you are… right now?
I promise you—
The person you want to be is the person you already are.
Right here.
Because the desire to become cannot exist without the truth already being within you.
Even if there are things you would change…It’s still you.
Deeply you.
And in that moment of noticing—God is here.
Steady.
Constant.
Right here.
And I want to anchor this in a few lyrics from a song.
You’re the One who goes before me, behind me, beside me You’re surrounding me. —Right Here by Patrick Mayberry
No striving.
No defending.
No self-abandoning.
Just present.
Right here.
Be. Authentically and unapologetically—you.
